The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through
Jesus Christ; to develop a creative supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
Thanks to Women’s Division/General Board of Global Ministries for the free web space. I am so excited. Information that units need for their mission work will be more easily accessed. Effective communication is essential for the work of United Methodist Women. I don’t think anyone would argue with that. The internet is a most efficient means of communication – fast and inexpensive. Many of our members don’t have internet access; so we will continue to send out information via print media, though some changes may be made due to rising costs. I hope that you who do use the internet will share information with those in your church who do not. Our web site is a work in progress. We will continue to add information, but will also work on graphics to jazz it up. Yeah!!!! We are up and running. Spread the word.
