Peace Connections: Cultivating Justice, Nonviolence & Well-being!
A representative from Newton's Peace Connections will provide information on The Circles™ Initiative, which is striving to transform communities by building relationships that inspire and equip people to end poverty and to fulfill the vision that everyone in Americashould have access to the reasons, relationships and resources they need to thrive. Circles™ recently received a grant from the Kansas West Board of Church and Society of the United Methodist Church.

Our annual meeting will be October 17 at Wichita West Heights UMC. Our theme is “Come to the Table”. We will have two focus groups one “Food and Faith” will be a panel of those faith based groups who are living the teaching of Jesus to do unto the least of these. The second focus group will be on how to have a “Mission Today Unit’. Our keynote speaker will be Mary Lou Reese, wife of Bishop Scott Jones.
