Education and Interpretation
Dear Education and Interpretation Coordinators,
It was good to meet with the District E & I's in Great Bend and
good, also, to have Betty Hodson meeting with us. You will be
interested to know of a few changes that the Conference Executive
approved:
On #8 of the criteria for Mission Today Units, Mini-School was
added. (At least one member of the unit other than a conference or
district officer will attend the Conference or District School of
Christian Mission.)
Also, it was decided that any unit who sends their Mission Today
report will be recognized in the Mission Today report with their name
printed along with the units who have qualified for being a Silver,
Gold, or Platinum unit.
It seems like time goes so fast, so please don't forget to work on
the criteria for being a Mission Today unit for 2009. Your District
E&I and also I have more information on becoming a "Green"
U.M.W.
unit and about holding a Mini-Spiritual Growth retreat.
We do hope many more units are working on becoming a Mission Today Unit
and that we will meet our goal of 60% of the units in our
conference being a Mission Today unit.
