"Cornerstones of Hope"

Our mission studies, Children of the Bible, Public Education and India-Pakistan, compel us to build a future of justice and righteousness for all children so that each generation is born into abundant life.

None will be called stranger or alien.

All will be citizens of the household of God.

PURPOSE

The organized unit of UNITED METHODIST WOMEN shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know GOD and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

UNITED METHODIST WOMEN EMBLEM

The cross and the flame, symbolizing the Holy Spirit, evokes images of sacrifice, witness and service, and reminds United Methodist Women of their opportunities and obligations of discipleship. Paul's words have fresh and contemporary meaning, "I now remind you to stir into flame the gift of God which is within you.

II Timothy 1:6a NEB
