Port Huron District
United Methodist Women

The Port Huron District is part of the Detroit Conference of the United Methodist Church. The District is made up of parts of seven counties in what is called the "THUMB AREA" of Eastern Michigan surrounded on two sides by Lake Huron and the St. Clair River and next to the Detroit city area to the south. The District is mostly rural farmland and small communities although there are a few larger cities on the edges. In fact it is named for a port city that connects the district to Ontario, Canada by the Blue Water Bridge.

The United Methodist Women of Port Huron welcome you to our site. We hope you will find that we firmly believe in our Purpose and want to share with you the experiences we have serving Christ through doing mission in His world.

OUR PURPOSE

The organized unit of United Methodist Women
shall be a community of women whose purpose is
to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ,
to develop a creative, supportive fellowship and
