PROGRAM RESOURCES: Promotes reading of Response Magazine & New World Outlook & orders supplies & books. Promotes the Reading Program & develops incentive to participate. Reports to District number of readers. SPIRITUAL GROWTH: Call to Prayer & Self Denial. Prayer Calendar. Pre-advent retreats. World Thank Offering, Memorial Service List. Coordinates opportunities for Bible study prayer, spiritual development. SOCIAL ACTION: Social action issues. Promotes prayer, study, action to bring about justice for women, children & Youth; encourages action; coordinates training in advocacy skills. Legislative Events. Charter for Racial Justice. EDUCATION & INTERPRETATION: School of Christian Missions. Reports studies done to the district. Interprets & promotes giving. Coordinates involvement in and support of mission work. Campbell's labels, United Campus Ministry. Promotes District Annual Meeting and Study Seminar and Mission Today Criteria. MEMBERSHIP: New Members packets and contacts. Co-co-ordinates recruitment of new members, retention of current members; keeps membership records; promotes nurture of members; esp. sick or shut in persons. Plans annual membership event. PASTOR: Ex-Officio member & should be invited to attend all meetings. |
