Sunday School

    The Sunday School Department at the Wayne United
Methodist Church is very active. We have an average weekly
attendance of about 135, which includes a Beginner class 
(ages 3 & 4) through two adult classes. So there is definitely a place for
everyone!

    You do not have to be a member of our church to attend our 
Christian Education classes. Throughout the year, we also offer a 
series of Kaleidoscope classes for short 4-6 week sessions on
various topics.

    We invite you to visit our classes. God wants to speak with
you through his Bible and through the loving concern of Christian
people. Your whole family will be glad you came!

† learns the stories from God's word, the Bible, and what they mean in today's expressway world.

† sings happy songs of faith and thanks to God.

† worships in the quiet of the church and learns to pray at any time, in any place.

† feels the presence of God and gets to know that the heavenly Father is always near.

† joins with other youngsters from the neighborhood. Many will become new friends!

† prepares to live a life pleasing to God and helpful to other people. That life - life with God - never ends.

† can bring the blessings of Christian love into your home.

* is a gift from God; He gave you this life.

* is a responsibility for you; both a joy, and at times, a burden.

* how can I give my child what he/she needs for a good and useful life?

* how can I teach him/her about God, about prayer, about life and death?

* how can I have help in guiding my children?

* I don't have all the answers myself!

OUR SUNDAY SCHOOL - - -

* is for your family - children and grownups.

* makes no charge for books or materials. (We take a "free-will" offering each week, but no charge is required to attend.)

* has dedicated teachers who want to share their faith in Christ as Lord and Savior. They give their time freely so that young people can learn about God.
