PURPOSE
OF UNITED METHODIST WOMEN
The United Methodist Women of the Wayne church are very active and support many different areas both within our church as well as many mission areas outside of our church. The group usually meets the second Wednesday of every month at 1PM in the church fellowship hall. There are four personal interest groups that also meet in conjunction with the monthly group meeting.
The interest groups are:
Personal Growth
This study group is trying to grow closer to Christ by studying God's word. They
meet the 1st & 3rd Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. at the church.
Naomi
They meet the 4th Wednesday of the month at 1:30 p.m. at the church.
Gospel Seekers
They meet the 4th Wednesday of the month at 8:00 p.m. at various members homes.
Theophilus
Maude Theophilus was a devout Bible Scholar and a founding member of this group,
named in her honor. They meet the 4th Wednesday of the month at 2:00 p.m.
at various members homes.
