Community Events Held in Our Church
Girl Scouts: All ages of girl scout groups meet in our church on the first and third Monday nights of the month from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. For more information about Girl Scouts call Sue Schroeder at 375-1194.
Goldenrod Hills Immunization Clinic: This non-profit organization holds a clinic in our church on the first Tuesday of every month from 9:00a.m. - 3:00 p.m. for immunizations. The fee is $15 per child. For more information call the Goldenrod Hills office in Wisner, Nebraska at 402-529-3513.
PALS: Our church occasionally hosts this group which stands for "People Are Loved." They usually host a night of fun and games for handicapped children which is geared around a special holiday or event. For more information, call Rev. Doug House at the United Presbyterian Church in Laurel.
Bethphage Missions: This non-profit organization provides many services for handicapped students. They meet most every day in the basement of our church. They work with parents to enhance educational and social skills, as well as getting their clients out in the community and possibly into a job setting. Jaycees: This group meets in our church the second Monday of every
week at 7:00 p.m. They are for people under the age of 40 and offer both
community services as well as fun and fellowship activities. For more
