Church Council
Chair: Jim Modrell
Meets the second Wednesday of the month at 8:00 p.m. for coordinating, visioning, and leading our church in living out its mission.
Education/Spiritual Growth
Chair: Deb Garwood
Coordinates the Christian education and spiritual growth ministries of our church family. Includes Sunday school, youth ministries, camping, library, college ministries, family and age level ministries, Vacation Bible School, and special studies.
Evangelism/Membership Care
Chair:
Leads our congregation in reaching out to our community with the message of Christ. This committee also nurtures our members and provides opportunities for them to connect with one another and with God.
Mission/Social Witness
Chair: Jeff Carstens
This ministry group calls us to ministries of mission and social witness. They plan mission trips, support special mission projects, and make our church family aware of community needs. They promote the annual CROP Walk and highway trash pick up.
Worship Committee
Chair: Joyce Wert
Encourages, supports, and promotes a vital, exciting worship life in our congregations. Coordinates ushers, greeters, worship leaders, and acolytes. They also provide a fellowship time after the worship service.
Nomination and Equipping Committee
Chair: Pastor
Fills the leadership needs of our congregation through prayerful reflection. Makes recommendations for organization changes which will help our church be more effective in its ministry.
Staff-Parish Committee
Chair: Sue Schroeder
Provides oversight of and support for our church staff including pastor, secretary, custodian, director of music, and treasurer.
Finance Committee
Chair: Rusty Parker
Compiles the yearly budget. Conducts yearly estimate of giving campaign and informs the congregation of financial progress and needs.
Trustees
Chair: to be elected in January
Meets the first Wednesday of the month at 8:00 p.m. Maintains and improves our church property. They make recommendations for church use policies and use of memorials.
Foundation
Chair: Tom Rose
Receives and invests bequests on behalf of the church family. They yearly disburse earnings for property needs, special mission and ministry projects, and scholarships. (see more information on Foundation page!)
