Shawn Callender Hogan is an ordained Elder in the Greater New Jersey Annual Conference, having received her Masters of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary. Prior to coming to Summit she served United Methodist churches in Ridgefield Park, Dumont, and Whitehouse. In addition to ministry in the local church, she serves the Conference through her work on the Board of Ordained Ministry, the District Committee on Ministry, and as a Clergy and Candidacy Mentor. Shawn is married to Bill Hogan, Jr., who is a middle school math teacher; they have two daughters.
Ms. Joanne Teubner-Prussak joined the staff of UMC Summit as the music director in 1999. Ms. Prussak brings a wealth of talent, education, and experience to the position in music and choral direction. She attended Mannes College of Music and has studied at Julliard School of Music focusing on piano, organ, and choral direction. Ms. Prussak shares her gifts by directing all our choral groups and determining how music can enhance our worship experience and our Christian lives.
Andrew (Drew) Sperry graduated from Niagara University with a bachelors degree in 2009. He is currently studying at Drew Theological School with hopes of earning a Masters of Divinity degree. He has worked with youth of all ages in both camp and parish ministries for the past 5 years, and joined our staff in December 2009.
Ms. Polly del Campo has been the church office adminstrator since the Fall of 2007. She manages the office and coordinates the activities of the many church groups and outside organizations, e.g. music, dance, fencing. She also collects and distributes information for the church membership, as well as overseeing various localized projects that arise.
Mr. Mike Stewart faces the task of keeping the church property in good working order with a smile.
