WE'VE MOVED! After years of prayerful consideration, we've sold our longtime home at 14 Chapel Street. During the summer of 2010 we will be holding worship services at 9:30 a.m (note new time!) Sundays at the Unity Church of God, located just up College Avenue on the corner of William Street. We remain an active, reconciling congregation, with members drawn from throughout the greater Boston area. Our church has programs for people of all ages including a very active young adult program. Please join us for Acts of the Apostles Study!
One of the most fascinating and relevant books of scripture when starting a Christian movement is the Acts of the Apostles. Here we find the stories of the successes and setbacks of the early church always undergirded by the presence of God. A group will be reading through Acts in its entirety over the course of six weeks. A short reading will be assigned daily with a group meeting on alternating Wednesdays (8/4, 8/18, 9/1) at 7:00 p.m. in the church office, now located at One Powderhouse Terrace in Somerville. The only prerequisite for the study is a desire to understand how scripture might inform our own journey of relaunching College Ave. UMC.
