Welcome to
the San Angelo District--United Methodist Church Internet site. This
site is sponsored by the San Angelo District
Council on Ministries (DCOM).
We invite you to not only visit our site, but to contribute your ideas,
remarks, and suggestions. Together, we will make this an outstanding
source for San Angelo District news, information, communications, and
resources for all of our congregations.

Our Mission
As the mission of the San Angelo District
Council on Ministries is to provide service to District churches
by offering support in planning and implementing ministries and other
programs aimed at influencing evangelism and discipleship, this website
is offered as a medium for area United Methodist Churches to communicate
programs and activities toward those same goals. The
District Council on Ministries
membership is comprised of representatives from across the District
whose main concern is the discipleship of God's people.
DCOM Profile
The
San
Angelo DCOM
is committed to providing programming support to all of the churches of
the San Angelo District. The
DCOM
Chairperson and council members work closely with the District
Superintendent and District Lay Leader to help our churches develop
programs that will foster increased success in the areas of evangelism,
ministries, congregational growth, and overall participation in the
World United Methodist Church.
Meeting
several times each year, the
DCOM
constantly seeks candid input from district churches. We ask that all
who visit this site provide input that might benefit the churches of our
district.
Who We Are
In the San Angelo District, it's all about diversity. We are the
sum total of what we do, where we are, how we love, in how we
share our faith. Our faith is demonstrated in our ministries and
missions; and it is those who serve on our committees, councils,
and boards who make it all come together.
This area of our site identifies our many organizations, as well
as those who so selflessly give of themselves in positions of
leadership. This is also your resource for locating individuals
when you have concerns that can be addressed by the
organizations and ministries listed here.
If you or your organization is not listed on this site, email
the pertinent information to the District Office. We'll gladly
include you in our listing.
