I have served as a pastor since 1981 in New Rochelle, New York; Ironwood, Michigan; Beloit, Wisconsin; Elgin, Illinois; and beginning in July 2001 at Church of the Pines in Minocqua, Wisconsin.

I am a graduate of North Park College and Theological Seminary in Chicago. I was ordained in the Evangelical Covenant Church in 1985. I am now an ordained elder in full connection in the Wisconsin Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church.

My wife Patty and I have three adult children, Jemaleddin, Colin, and Kjirsten, and two beautiful grandchildren, Sierra and Jared. I enjoy snowshoeing, hiking, talking to people, reading, and computer graphics.

I feel blessed to be working at Church of the Pines as the Coordinator of Children, Youth and Family Ministries. I feel honored to be in an environment where I am constantly learning more about Jesus and the Christian faith, and where I have the opportunity to teach others.

I grew up in Waukegan, Illinois with an identical twin sister and a little brother. I am a graduate of Western Illinois University in Macomb, Illinois with a degree in Elementary Education. I taught third grade for one year before moving to the Northwoods. When I was a kid, I was often a camper at Camp Jorn in Manitowish Waters, Wisconsin. When I became old enough I began workingthere as a staff member. This is where I met my husband Jeremy Jorgensen and his dog Earl. Im August 2004 we were married and added another addition to our family...Brandy, our other yellow lab mix.
