ministry for children

Our goal in children's ministry is to nurture and grow students in their Christian faith. To that end we not only provide ministries for our children we also involve them in ministering to others. During the 2006 Christmas season our Kids' Company group took turns ringing the Salvation Army bell to raise money for the poor.

some of our ministries for children are...

• Sunday school classes are provided for all ages September through May. Our children's classes use Group curriculum.
• Vacation Bible School is conducted in mid-summer each year. Recent themes have been Serengeti Trek, Fiesta, and Avalanche Ranch. Classes are available for pre-schoolers through fifth graders.
• Kids' Company is a weekly drama and music outreach. Elementary school aged children are taught to act and sing. They provide dramatic presentations at nursing homes and assisted living centers as well as at church for the United Methodist Women.
• Kids' Club is a monthly activity programs with games, snacks, crafts, and lots of fun.
• The Heifer Project is the beneficiary of many of our Sunday school and VBS offerings.
