- Disciple Bible studies are an intensive 34 week course of in-depth study. Five courses are presently available and many adults at Church of the Pines have completed the first four. We are currently offering the Disciple II course at 10:00 AM on Tuesdays.
- Christian Believer studies are new to Church of the Pines. Christian Believer is an intensive 34 week study of the major doctrines of the Christian faith. The goal is to learn what the church has believed throughout its history. The study group meets at 6:30 p.m. each Wednesday evening.
- Other Bible Studies are available in homes, at church, and in UMW circles.
- Adult Enrichment class meets in the church library during coffee hour.
fellowship
- Odd Couples is a group that meets monthly, usually at a restaurant and after dinner gathers in a member's home for dessert and conversation.
- Conversation and Dinner (CAD) groups are available for all who are interested. Participants are assigned to groups of eight. They meet monthly for a potluck meal in one of the members' home. Each individual or couple takes a turn hosting the group.
- Keenagers is a group for seniors that meets monthly for a potluck dinner at noon and an interesting program.
- United Methodist Women has six different circles that meet at a variety of times. In addition to study and fellowship UMW members are organized to support missions.
service
- Stephen Ministry is a ministry offered to those experiencing difficulties in life.
- Northwoods Habitat for Humanity offers interested members an opportunity to work together with members of other churches to provide housing for the needy.
- Lakeland Food Pantry provides food for the needy.
