Directions to The United Methodist Church at Milltown

47 North Main Street, Milltown, NJ 08850

Taking Route 1 northbound:

In North Brunswick take the exit ramp to Route 130 South/Milltown Road. At the end of the ramp on the top of the hill at the traffic light, go straight across onto the ramp onto Carolier Lane toward Milltown Road

(A)      Just past a car dealership on the right, at the traffic light turn right onto Milltown Road.

(B)       Milltown Road becomes Main Street. Follow for about .8 miles, then just beyond a bakery and a hardware store (both on the right), is East Church Street, where the church will be on the far left corner. Just beyond the church and office building (white house), go beyond the parking lot exit and enter just beyond a small garden and tree at the entrance on the left. You may enter the church building through the entrance with the overhang.

Taking Route 130 northbound:

In North Brunswick at the junction of Rts. 130 and 1, turn right at the traffic light for Route 1 north and Milltown Road. (see A & B)

Taking the New Jersey Turnpike northbound: 

Use exit 9 (New Brunswick)

(C)       Just beyond the toll, bear to the far right onto Route 18 northbound.  Quickly move to the 2^nd lane from the left, and following Route 18 northbound across the first overpass, exit quickly to the right onto the jughandle for Route 1 southbound.

(D)      On Route 1 southbound, go past the overpass for the Milltown/Ryders Lane exit, however, just underneath the next overpass, exit to the right for Milltown.  (see B)

Taking the Garden State Parkway northbound:

Use Exit 105 and keep right to enter Route 18 northbound. (See E)

FROM NORTH OF NEW BRUNSWICK

Taking the Garden State Parkway southbound:

(choice 1) Use Parkway exit 129 to the New Jersey Turnpike southbound.  On the NJ Turnpike southbound use exit 9 (New Brunswick).  (see C & D)

(choice 2) Use Parkway exit 130 to Route 1 southbound. After crossing the Raritan River into the New Brunswick area, pass the junction of Route 18, then see D above.

Taking Route 1 southbound:

When reaching the New Brunswick area just beyond junction of Route 18, see D above.

Taking Route 287 southbound:

Use exit 9 and bear right onto River Road toward Highland Park. Follow for about 3 miles, then at traffic light junction with Route 18, from right lane turn right onto Route 18 southbound (toward NJ Turnpike). After about 3 miles on Rt. 18, soon after traffic light at Paulus Boulevard, while approaching Route 1, keep to the right during a sharp curve to enable a right-hand exit onto Route 1 southbounhd. (see D)

FROM EAST OF NEW BRUNSWICK

Taking Route 18 northbound:

(E) When entering 45 mph zone in East Brunswick commercilized area, soon after traffic light at Arthur Street, pass the Colonial Diner then Magnifico's Ice Cream (both on right). Just beyond next overpass, exit right--onto ramp for Milltown Road/Milltown. Follow for about 2.7 miles (Milltown Road becomes Main Street.) In Milltown beyond traffic light at Washington Avenue, pass the Hess Station, bank, and pharmacy; then just beyond Bella Villa Pizza and just before the tree, trun right into church parking lot entrance. You may enter the church building through the entrance with the overhang.
