PRESCHOOL NEWS:
Offerings for Academic Year 2008-2009!

Registration begins with a one-time fee of $70. Hours will be from 8:30 a.m. until noon.

Mom's Morning Out (for ages six months to two years-as of September 30th):
Two days (Tuesday and Thursday) - $75 per month
One day - Tuesday - $40 per month
One day - Thursday - $40 per month

Two-Year-Old Class (must be two by September 30th) - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday - $110 per month

Three-Year-Old Class (must be three by September 30th):
Three-day program - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday - $110 per month
Five-day program - Monday through Friday - $170 per month
"Our three and four-year-olds will have beginning Computer Skills and beginning Spanish."

Pre-K Class (must be four by September 30th):
Five-day program - Monday through Friday - $170 per month
The only option available for four-year-olds is 5 days a week.

Early Morning Drop-off - for working parents - 7:45 to 8:30 a.m.
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday - $6 per week
Monday through Friday - $10 per week

In 2000, the Administrative Council of Grace UMC has made the decision to bring the Grace UMC Preschool program under the umbrella of the church's ministries. The church completely funds the operations of the Preschool program and receives all of the income from the program. This decision was approved through the process of going before the Board of Trustees and the Finance Committee before being presented to the Administrative Council.

The Council's action places the Preschool program on the same level with any other ministry or organization within Grace with the same purpose for existing: To proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to promote our church to our surrounding community.
Hopefully the decision of the Administrative Council will help us all to understand that we have a stake in the operation and success of the Preschool program.
