CHOIR REHEARSAL RESUMES
The Chancel Choir is a great way for adults,
high-school age, and older to participate in worshipping our
Lord. Presently, there are 22 volunteer members, some of which
have been singing in the church since they were members of the children
and youth choirs. The only requirement for membership in the
choir is an interest in celebrating faith through music and song.
The Choir provides music for Sunday morning worship
and also presents special musical events during athe year.
Highlights of the year include the Christmas and Easter cantatas.
The group is known fjor performing a variety of musical styles, and
occasionally having extgra instruments accompany them.
Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings from 6:45 to 7:45,
except during July, when the choir takes a well-deserved
break. July provides an opportunity for members to perform solos
or ensembles, as well as a chance for those in the community to sing.

Praise Ringers is the
name of our handbell choir here at Grace. They consist of 13
ringers and one conductor, who rehearse once a week for an hour and a
half. Regular performances take place throughout the year, mainly
around Christmas and Easter. The group does not practice during
July and August.
The group plays on a 4 octave set of Malmark handbells, which is a
total of 49 handbells. Malmark, by far, is used by more choirs
than any other company. These handbells are cast in bronze, with
individual weights ranging from several ounces to a copule of pounds
and are polished inside and out to have the look, feel, and sound of
brilliant brass.
The PraiseRingers are always in need of more members, including
alternates. Contact the church office or any member of the
handbell choir if you are interested in learning about the rehearsal
schedule.
