The Missions Committee began giving a SOS (spotlight on service) award to recognize members who gave themselves in service to others.  Recipients included Maudie Taylor, Elizabeth Shiftlet, Olga Brown, Perry Lowe, Barbara Toliver, and Margaret and John Brewer.  The family night supper was a Mexican fiesta featuring a program by Kenny Herren, son of Wayne and Nelda Herren, who presented a program on the Heifer Project.  Grace members joined 10,000 other Methodists at the Centroplex in Baton Rouge for "The Gathering."  Food, fun, fellowship, and laughter were enjoyed as Grace members roasted Pastor Larry Miller.  Proceeds from the event went to mission projects.  The Easter Cantata was "The Wonder of It All."

In April 1991, Rev. H. T. Maclin led a Missions Weekend.  Events included a youth pizza supper, a picnic in Cook Park, Men's Breakfast, Sunday Services, and a Sunday luncheon.  Faith Promise pledges from the weekend totaled over $8,000.  Also in April 1991, consecration services for the new parsonage in Melrose were conducted.  In May 1991, Grace was treated to the play "A Company of Wayward Saints" at the Agape' Dinner Theater.  The cast included Keith Boydstun, Dirk Dorn, Kristy Hickman, and Laura and Richie McKinney.  The production was directed by Mary Carol Freidrich.

The Prayer Chapel was dedicated in June 1991.  A church growth study was done by Rev. Ray Branton.  Information was gathered and compiled about past and present growth patterns and recommendations for the future were made.  The findings were presented at a family night supper.  Also on the program that night was a program on the Holy Land by Fredna Akin and Bill Willis.  Dr. Ed Robb led the fall revival.  Mack and Shala Blake led the music.  Among the 4th graders receiving Bibles were Leslie Hohlt and Rebecca Taylor.  In October 1991, Mrs. Frances Morgan and Mrs. Rita Hamblin gave a concert.  A reception followed.  CATS enjoyed a hayride and costume contest for Halloween.

In December 1991, Grace sponsored the Poor Man's Supper, and the third Habitat House for Humanity was dedicated.  Many of our members had worked on the house.  Other Advent activities included the Hanging of the Greens, the Christmas Cantata "King Forever," church-wide caroling, a Grace Preschool Christmas program, and the Christmas Eve Candlelight and Communion Service.
