On 27th January, 1958, Henry Blount and Lu McGehee left for a ten day teaching and preaching mission in Cuba.  They were part of a group of 130 ministers and laymen who participated in this evangelistic campaign.  over 1000 meetings were held and 478 people were baptized.

Among the new members reported in the Grace newsletter were the L. A. Raineys and the Thermon Holsteads.

In July, 1958, a traveling "Youth Caravan" led the Grace youth in a week of worship and recreation.  An average of 35 youth attended.

In October, 1958, Methodist Men, WSCS, and the Wesleyan Service Guild sponsored a booth at the fair.  It was reported that thousands of "Grace-burgers" were served.  Also reported, from an unnamed source, was the comment, "I don't ever want to see another hamburger again."

Also in October, 1958, Grace held its 8th anniversary.  Members celebrated with a homecoming dinner on the grounds.  Membership was reported at 407.

Grace church was chosen as the site of the Ruston Ministerial Alliance's annual Thanksgiving Day Worship Service.  Dr. Rel Gray, pastor of Temple Southern Baptist Church delivered the message.

Grace ended the year 1958 with a candle light service and a Christmas festival.
