On
Palm Sunday of 1953, the congregation of Grace moved into its new
building
on the corner of Tech Drive and California. To speed occupancy
each
Sunday School class furnished its own room.
With a permanent location, the
first Vacation
Bible School was planned for 8th June.
Ruby Nell Barker was appointed
Music Director.
The Official Board officers
were W. H. Hendrickson,
Chair; T. E. Raley, Vice-Chair; Hal Barker, Secretary; and Vernon Lay,
Treasurer.
During December, a chicken
spaghetti supper
was held in the new building.
