Following the evening service that day, the Women's Society of Christian Service was formed.  Mrs. W. S. Dean installed the officers.  Mrs. Dean was assisted by District Superintendent Rev. G. W. Pomeroy, Mrs. Pomeroy, and Pastor Doug McGuire.  The first set of officers were: President - Mrs. W. W. Adams, Vice President - Mrs. Maurice Caraway, Secretary - Mrs. Audrey Howard, and Treasurer - Mrs. Fairy McBride.

The Board of Stewards held its organizational meeting at the home of Fletcher Baker on Monday, 13th November.  Officers elected were Chairman - Fletcher Baker, Vice Chairman - Bill Hendrickson, and Secretary - Hal Barker.

The first Communion Service was held on 10th December, and the new congregation ended the year with a watch night service at midnight 31st December with a call to begin the new half century in prayer and an attitude of new and whole-hearted consecration of Christ.
