A rose is placed on the altar in honor of the birth of Amelia Ruth
Edwards, granddaughter of Pat and Linda Moyers. She was born Nov. 12,
weighing 6 lbs. 9 oz. Advent
Adventure – Sun., Nov. 29 at 5:15 p.m. Register and include $5 /
family for a light supper. We are planning a Treasured Christmas
Keepsake display, so we would like you to bring an item that is a
“treasure” to you (such as an ornament made by your child, a special
stocking, Nativity piece, etc.). Write a brief story of why this item
is special to you. Look
for the Methodist Children's Home Angel Tree in the hall leading to the
church sanctuary. The deadline to bring gifts is Wednesday, Dec. 2nd.
Please sign your name on the list beside the # of the card you took.
The Women of Grace are sponsoring this project. Questions may be
directed to Laura McKinney, 255-3228. Grace T-Shirts for sale. Cost: $11 each, $13 for 2X. Friendship
Club and Lunch – Dec. 1 at 10:00. All adults are invited to join in on
the Christmas lunch at noon. Members need to bring side dishes and
salads. Women’s
Christmas Coffee - All the women of the church are invited to come to a
Christmas Coffee in the church Fellowship Hall on Saturday, Dec. 5 from
10 - 11:30 a.m. Dress casual, bring an ornament to exchange ($5 or
less) and enjoy the coffee, finger foods and fellowship! Please call
Laura McKinney at 255-3228 if you have any questions. Bags of Grace for CCA – pick up a bag and fill it with household items listed on letter (in hallway) Poinsettias
– Place an order for a poinsettia by Dec. 6 to help decorate the altar
beginning Dec. 13, then you may take it home after worship on Dec. 20.
