Lent is a journey we all take with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It is a time and a season that encompasses the gamut of experience from penitence to the joyful expectation of resurrection. In addition to our regular Sunday Worship Schedule we invite you to faithfully participate in all of the following steps along the path to Easter.
Palm Sunday – March 16th
8:30 & 10:30 AM – Celebration of Palms Worship Services.
Holy Thursday – March 20th
Worship Service at St Stephen’s AME Zion Church. The folks from the AME Zion church, along with Pastor Woody, will host this service beginning at 7:30 PM. Watch the bulletin for additional information.
Good Friday – March 21st
12 noon – The Branford Clergy have organized an Ecumenical service beginning at noon at St. Mary’s church and concluding at Trinity Episcopal Church on the Town Green around 3 PM. Pastor John will be preaching as part of this service.
Easter – March 23rd
6:30 AM – Contemporary Sunrise Service featuring our own Power of Praise Band.
Breakfast will be served in Herr Hall following the Sunrise Service.
8:30 AM & 10:30 AM – Resurrection Worship Services and Holy Communion, Chancel Choir at both services.
