Bethlehem United Methodist Church is one of the oldest church sites in Montgomery County, Tennessee and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The land on which the church is situated was deeded to the trustees in 1836 and the original church was a log structure. This was replaced in 1899 by the present Gothic- style frame building, which was dedicated on June 17, 1900. Education classrooms were added in 1955 and again in 1960, along with a kitchen and bathrooms. The church is an architectural gem whose beauty is conducive to meaningful worship. Currently the church has about 175 members and is growing and thriving with people of all ages. The pastor is the Rev. B.J. Brack. We invite you to come and see for yourself why many people have told us that Bethlehem UMC is "the friendliest church they have ever attended!" We invite you to come and be a part of our family of God!
