At our kid-friendly church we welcome all ages into our sanctuary for worship on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. On Saturday afternoons, families worship together. On Sundays, children join the congregation for the beginning of the worship service, gather for the children's moment, then go to Sunday School. Nursery care for children ages 2 and under is provided by Ms. Paige, or parents can listen to the service from the Nursery. We encourage children to participate in worship in a variety of ways, in addition to providing programs and events to enrich our children’s lives outside of worship.

In Sunday School, our storytellers bring Bible stories to life using three dimensional objects that the children can touch and work with. We create a sacred space where children can experience God through the great stories of our faith tradition and then choose how they want to express their response to the story. To learn more about this Montessori-based program called Godly Play, go to www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aw_mrzZJx00 or search for Godly Play on You Tube.

Learning centers of music, art, drama, cooking, games (and more!) rotate monthly to deepen the learning in Godly Play.

“Godly Play Spoken Here,” means we teach the language of religion—story, ritual, and community—to allow our children to express the deep spirituality they already possess.

We are always open to new students. Won't you join us?

Interested children also have the opportunity to participate in the Children’s Choir at the end of their Sunday school classes.
