Pastor: Rev. Jackie Brannen
Reverend Jackie Brannen has been a United Methodist minister since 2005. She served Richmond Community UMC, Asbury UMC, East Monmouth UMC, United Church of Monmouth, The Federated Church of Thomaston, and Rockland UMC before serving in Auburn. Pastor Jackie was a crisis counselor and Special Education teacher before she accepted a call into pastoral ministry. Her passion in ministry is to share the love of God to all God's children so that everyone will come to a place of grace and peace both in this world and the next. She has a special love for the orphans, the poor and marginalized of this world. Pastor Jackie lives with her 8 year old grandson Matthew, who is her personal ray of sunshine, a dog; Noah, and two kittens; CoCo and Nellie. She has three daughters and five grandchildren. Pastor Jackie loves to read, and travel. Her favorite scripture is "Be Still and Know that I am God."--Psalm 46:10
 
 
Director of Christian Education: Caroline Coffin
Caroline Young Coffin has been the Director of Christian Education at the United Methodist Church of Auburn since 2007. She has a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Southern Maine and is a trained Godly Play teacher. She has a passion for music, sharing her gifts with the congregation since 1996 as a soloist, as part of the Wesleyan Singers, and by leading children's music in choirs and Vacation Bible School. Caroline (or Ms. Kary, as the children know her) seeks to know and share God's love through her work with adults, youth and children. She lives in Auburn with her husband Dana and daughters Edith and Mary.
 
 
Organist: Norma Rice Gould
Norma studied piano with Mona Knowles for 12 years in her home town of Wilton, Maine. She was introduced to the organ at North Jay Methodist Church by James Armstrong. During her teen years, she served that church as organist for 4 years. After high school Norma pursued her nursing career studying at Maine Medical Center and becoming a Registered Nurse. Norma settle in Auburn, Maine where she worked as a nurse at Central Maine Medical Center for 10 years prior to her 35 years as the Auburn School Department's Home School Coordinator. Norma has been the organist at Park Avenue United Methodist Church of Auburn, Maine for 35 years. She has been a beloved piano teacher for more than 30 years. Much of her life is spent performing in programs, concerts, and shows for church, school, grange, and accompanying children's and adult choirs. Norma is an active English handbell player at the Auburn Methodist Church.
 
 
Choir Director: Joel Biron
Joel is a native of Auburn, Maine. He studied music at Colby College in Waterville and later attended the University of Maine School of Law. He began directing the Wesleyan Singers in the fall of 2012.
 
 
Sat. Music Coordinator: Mitch Thomas
Singer, pianist, songwriter, Mitchell Clyde Thomas of Durham has been entertaining audiences in Maine and around New England for more than 40 years, beginning as a very young side-kick to his fiddle-playing grandfather. For nearly 30 years, he has been sharing and leading music in some way or other in this church. For 30 years, Mitch has been the director of the Music-Theatre camps for youth at Camp Mechuwana in Winthrop, and for many years he directed children's choirs here in his home church. On weekends, Mitch is the Director of Music and the coordinator for the Saturday (and early Sunday in summer) Service here, and is also the choir director and organist at our sister church, Calvary UMC in Lewiston. Over the past 10 years, he has been the Music Director for the New England Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. He is very active in Lewiston-Auburn's Community Little Theatre, where he directs some of their shows and has performed in scores of them over the past two decades.
 
 
Bell Choir Director: William Buzza
William "Bill" Buzza has directed the handbell program at the church since 1993. Bill first started ringing handbells in the youth handbell choir at the Grant Memorial U.M.C. in Presque Isle, Maine, and has been involved in the art of handbell ringing ever since. Bill earned his B.M. degree in Music Education from the University of Southern Maine in 1993 and his M.S. Ed degree in Educational Leadership from the University of New England in 2010. Bill teaches music at Edward Little High School in Auburn, Maine and has guest conducted at various honors music festivals and Maine handbell conferences.

Joan and her husband, Roy currently reside in Poland. Joan has been a Certified Lay Speaker for the UMC in both New Jersey and Maine since 1995. Along with her duties here at the Auburn UMC, she is serving as Pastor of the Bolsters Mills UMC in Harrison, ME.
 
 
Custodian: Peter Poliquin
Peter was born and raised in Lewiston. He graduated from Lewiston High School. He has two daughters which are both teachers. Jennifer teaches 6th grade at St. Dom's and Nicole teaches History at Leavitt Area High School. He also has a grandson named Charlie. Peter enjoys the outdoor activities such as fishing, boating and hunting. When he was younger he participated in amateur boxing. He has been working for the UMC for 15 years.
 
 
Parish Nurse: Lucille Webber
Lucille Webber, R.N., M.S.N is a graduate from the Eastern Maine General Hospital School of Nursing and the University of Southern Maine. She has worked as a staff nurse in medical/surgical nursing, Supervisor of maternal child health, Home Care and as a nursing instructor for 10 years at CMMC School of Nursing. She enjoys traveling and going on the annual mission trip to South Carolinia. She lives in Poland with her two cats, George and Topper.
