Leader: I am the living bread which came down from heaven; if any one eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread which I shall give for the life of the world is My flesh.
People: The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not a participation in the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not a participation in the body of Christ? Because there is one loaf, we who are many are one body, for we all partake of the same loaf.

Bless, we pray, our gathering today. Touch our hearts and our minds with the fire of Your Holy Spirit. Grant that our praise may be more than words, our prayer more than speech, our songs more than mere harmony. Teach us and comfort us, strengthen us and lead us that we might draw closer to You. We ask it in Jesus' name who has taught us to pray:
