Pastor's Comments on Upper Room Daily Devotional

Kathy compares planting seeds of faith to planting seeds for a garden.  This reminds me of a gentleman who used to be in our Conference named Woody.  He went around to different districts telling about a program he had come up with called "Godly Gardening" (I think).  The idea, as I remember, was to grow your faith and give it away.  I was having health problems when Woody was active here in Oklahoma so did not get to attend any of his seminars.  I did hear many good testimonies about the program from lay people who had gone on to practicing "Godly Gardening."  Many, many persons planted seeds of love in my heart and they finally took root and blossomed into a personal faith for me.  We can plant that tiny seed and let God do all the harvesting.  Nothing can compare with the results; it is all so wonderful and amazing.

I love you all and pray that sometime today you will thank God for the growth of the seeds of love that you plant.  I also pray that he will bless you and keep you in his infinite love and amazing grace.
