The normal noon time Shepherd's Table service held in the church's Family Life Center was moved to McClain Homes Sunday, September 27, where a large tent was set up. The service time was also moved to 5:30 following the meal served at 4:30. The Awaken Praise Team got the service started by singing contemporary songs followed by Bro. Mike's message about putting a new song in our hearts.

At the end of the service, Bud and Lynda Bottcher were recognized for their hard work in getting everything in place including the meal consisting of hamburgers and hot dogs.

Shepherd's Table Celebration

It's such an humbling experience to be at work in God's house and become aware that He is in the building! Such was the sense of everyone who was present Sunday evening for the Shepherd's Table Celebration. There was an electric atmosphere as the gathering began. Every part of the whole event was so beyond any one person's ability, it was obvious that the Lord had shown up! All we can do now is praise Him and thank Him for blessing us with His presence! A hearty "thank you" and a "God bless you!" also to all of you who took part in any way! It was wonderful to see the church family turn out in such large numbers to welcome and embrace folks who don't always have the opportunity to attend Sunday services. For all of you who volunteered to help - there is no way to thank you enough. For those of who were asked to help - and willing said "yes" - it just couldn't have happened without you. In all these cases, you were obedient to His requests and invitations and answered His call. He is faithful to reward those who listen and obey. May you be blessed with the awareness of lives changed as a result of your own faithfulness!!
