History: Our Faith Promise Missions program was started in 1974 by a donation of $2,000 and a desire expressed by members to reach out beyond existing programs. An account was opened in he name "World Parish Missions," with the program funded through Faith Promise giving.

Purpose: Evangelical outreach that reveals Jesus Christ to people and extends an invitation to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

Currently: The work area account is called Faith Promise and is budgeted for $4,150 per month. This includes the monthly support of 12 missionaries and 5 missionary causes. Other activities and missionary causes are funded on a case basis as funds permit.

Faith Promise Explained: BETWEEN GOD AND YOU...FAITH PROMISE looks directly to God, asking "How much can I trust God to give through me?" FAITH PROMISE is given over and above our regular tithes and offerings. FAITH PROMISE is a promise only, between you and God - it is not a pledge. FAITH PROMISE giving relies on our faith in God's ability to provide. FAITH PROMISE giving requires the beliver to trust God to enable them to give a specific amount to missions in the coming year.

Mission Vision: To have each member of our local churches actively participating in home or foreign missions.

To support at least one missionary in every country in the world.

To encourage and disciple other churches to implement mission programs of their own.
