      Senior Pastor - Rev. Mike Pope

      Rev. Mike Pope, Senior Pastor, served in the Birmingham area for 10 years prior to coming to Tuscumbia.

      • Graduate of Asbury Theological Seminary (1989)
      • Graduate of Auburn University (1976)
      • Coached in high school for eight years prior to being called into ministry.
      • Married to the former Susan Carroll of Arab, AL
      • Two children: Daniel(22), Rebekah(21)

       

       

       

      Associate Pastor - Bro. David Dale

      Bro. David has been in ministry for over twenty years. In 2002 he accepted the call to serve as a pastor for three years bi-vocationally. During this time he received his license to preach through a sister Wesleyan denomination, the Evangelical Church. David has been married for seventeen years and has two children, Hannah-Kate and Benjamin. David has been on staff since June of 2006. He is currently pursuing his license to preach under the United Methodist Church

      Bob Head

      Bob has served churches in the Shoals area as Minister of Music, Minister of Youth, and Minister of Evangelism.

      • Additional Graduate studies University of North Alabama
      • Additional Graduate studies toward the Education Specialist Doctoral degree Nova University Ft. Lauderdale, Florida
      • Ordained to the Ministry 1980

      Married to the former Sharyn Mooney, Decatur, Alabama, who teaches senior English at Muscle Shoals High School. Bob and Sharyn have two sons: Jonathan, an Attorney, with the Law firm of Stone, Grenade, & Crosby in Bay Menette, Alabama, and Andrew, a student at the University of Alabama.

       

    Awaken Service Worship Leader

      Kevin Cook

      Kevin and his wife, Jennifer, have three daughters - Megan, Lauren and Kristen.

      Carol and her husband, Danny, have two daughters and a son - Nicole, Britney and Colin.

       

       

       

     

    Youth Ministers

      Jim Maples (9 - 12 Grades)

      Dr. Jim Maples, a dentist with a office in Florence, grew up at TFUMC. Jim and his wife, Mashea, have three children, Jessica, Lauren and Tanner who attend Tuscumbia city schools.

      Jim felt a call to really lead the youth and experienced a heart for Jesus. We are excited to have Jim on our staff.
