Tape & Sound Ministry
How can you serve?
- We currently need at least two or three additional helpers.
- Your help is needed just once a month.
- We tape and monitor the sound levels for the 11am (second) service (9:30am during the summer).
- After the service it takes 20-30 minutes to duplicate and label copies of the tapes.
Who does it serve?
- The tapes are distributed at no charge to shut-ins or those in medical care facilities.
- Tapes of the service may be purchased by anyone for one dollar. These can be shared with a
friend or relative, and help you share the message with them. You may just want to have one to
hear and do further study of the sermon.
What is an Audio Assistive Device?
(The ushers can provide you one before the service begins)
- These are similar to a hearing aide, and are available to anyone attending services.
- The device is a radio receiver. TUMC services are trasmitted and picked up by these devices.
- It has its own volume control that you can adjust.
- The earplug covers are replaceable; you will be given new ones.
