SPIRITUAL GIFTS EMPHASIS,Lent 2010
We will be having an All Church Lenten emphasis on Spiritual Gifts for Ministry or what some have called Motivational Gifts. All the preaching, small groups, and Kid Konnection will be discovering our personal gifts and look at where God is asking us to use these gifts in our own lives, our families, at work and in the church. More on this in the next Methodist. Watch the upcoming Sunday Methodist for details.
ALL CHURCH PRAYER MEETINGS for 2010
Pastor Roy has set the last Tuesday of the month for the All Church Prayer Meeting. This will help us to set aside at least one time a month we can gather for corporate and individual prayer. We will meet in the sanctuary from 6:30-7:15pm. All are welcome to attend. We have timed this time of prayer so that people who attend small group and church meetings can make them. Our purpose is to corporately come before the Lord and also have time for personal prayer around the rail. The upcoming dates for 2010 are no meeting in March, April 27, May 25, June 29

MEN’S MINISTRY
MEN’S MISSION TRIP TO BILOXI Once again, the men will be going to Biloxi, MS, to help with home repair and rebuilding. Our host in Biloxi (The Hope Center) has secured funding for this year and hope (get it?) to complete more houses than the previous years. This may be the last year that they can get funding, so the push is on. We will be going to Biloxi on Sunday, April 18, and return home on Saturday, April 24. If you are interested, there will be a short meeting after the 8:15 service on Sunday, January 17, or you can speak to Pastor Skip or Steve McGoldrick (steve.mcgoldrick@sbcglobal.net or 683-1269).
Last year we had eight guys go on the trip and help get three families back into their homes. Remember, it has been 4½ years since the hurricane hit the Gulf Coast and many people have not been able to get back into their homes yet. We can bring HOPE back to people’s lives by our efforts. Please prayerfully consider being the only Jesus that some people may see.
