Worship Services & Fellowship Opportunities
Praise & Worship Service, 8:30AM
This is a very informal time of worship in the fellowship
hall designed to meet the needs of people who prefer an alternative to the
traditional worship style. Our goal is always to worship God authentically
through music, prayer, scripture, drama, and art. We encourage you to come
as you are; bring your children, bring your coffee, bring your friends!
Sunday Morning Fellowship, 9:30AM
A continental breakfast is provided at 9:30AM in the
fellowship hall to give persons an opportunity to know each other.
Sunday School for children, youth and adults, 9:45AM
Everyone is welcome to participate in our various Sunday
school classes.
Traditional Worship,10:55AM
This service is a
formal traditional worship service. In this service we include creeds,
prayers, singing from the United Methodist Hymnal, children’s story,
scripture and sermon. Our Chancel Choir sings an anthem most Sundays, with
occasional special music by Handbell Choir, Children’s Choir or guest.
The service usually lasts about an hour. This is our largest group of
worshippers on Sunday morning. Our two pastors share leadership of this
service, with our senior pastor preaching most of the time.
Children's church is held at this hour, and child care is available in the
nursery. The service is recorded on tape and is available to anyone who
would like a copy.
Anyone
looking for a more formal traditional worship service is welcome to come and
worship in the sanctuary.
