Provide Food & Help Connect People
to the Land! Planting has begun in our new Community Garden. The Brotherhood of St. Lawrence, a men's group from Trinity Episcopal Church downtown, has partnered with St. Mark's as well as other churches in Tulsa. The group laid out our plot, tilled the soil, and provided plants and seeds as well as advice on caring for our garden. Come out to water, weed . . . this summer! We have planted melons, squash, cucumbers, beans, peppers and tomatoes. The vegetables will be given out to families in our community who may otherwise not easily be able to afford fresh veggies. |
