Skye Farm Camp

Harold Shippey brings to the position of Director of Camping the talents of a pastor and administrator, a love of the outdoors, and a concern for ministering to the whole person. He also brings an extensive knowledge of the camping program in Troy Conference, including serving as the first Director/Manager of Skye Farm from May 1976 until August 1984.

His love of the outdoors includes not only involvement in outdoor activities but also a concern for taking care of this most precious resource by being involved with the Residents' Committee to protect the Adirondacks.

An Advanced Emergency Medical Technician, Shippey works with the Bolton, N.Y. Rescue Squad. His Administrative experience has included professional positions chief financial and administrative officer with Community Health Care Organizations and as a primary care systems consultant in Armenia for United Methodist Committee on Relief. Shippey has a MBA in Health Systems Administration, a Masters of Theology with a concentration in Psychology and Pastoral Care, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.

Covenant Hills Camp

From September to June, Todd Marlow teaches biology at Richford High School in Vermont. But in late June, the science teacher dons outdoor gear and heads to Covenant Hills, where he serves as the Executive Director for the United Methodist-United Church of Christ camp.

Prior to being appointed Executive Director, Marlow had worked at Covenant Hills every summer for 10 years, beginning as a counselor during his last years in college. He's worked as a lifeguard, as part of the maintenance crew and as a counseling supervisor.
