Pastor Bob McQueen was sent forth into the ministry by the vote of the Trinity United Methodist Church of Mountain Grove, Mo., in 1984. He has served five appointments in 19 years and is now coming home to serve Trinity.

In 1995, he married Lori, and this union brought forth 5-year-old Emma, who will begin school in Mountain Grove in the fall as a kindergartner, and 3-year-old Danielle. Lori is a registered pharmacist who finds time to be a great mom and wife. Lori will be the pharmacist in charge at the Wal-mart in Ava, Mo.

Pastor Bob describes himself as a free-spirited Christian who likes to spend time with people, is a team player, open and very flexible while also challenging people to walk the walk and talk the walk. He describes his sermons as food for the soul. He challenges the people of God to accept others as they have been accepted by God, to love others as they have been loved by God, to forgive others as they have been forgiven by God because, "Being a Christian is hard work!"
