The Trinity United Methodist Church organ was designed and installed by the M.P. Moller Organ Company in 1933 when the church was built. It was designed by Moller tonal director Richard O. Whitelegg, draws upon English tradition and is a fine example of the "Romantic" organ, a product of its time. The four manual instrument featured a tuba chorus and echo division and represented one of Moller 's finest instruments.

Over the years the organ was subjected to a variety of damage, some due to a leaky roof, and some to normal wear and tear from extended use. Repairs were made as needed until 1974 when the organ was completely rebuilt. It was substantially revoiced and altered with the addition of the Antiphonal Great organ, a two manual Antiphonal console and a Festival Trumpet en chamade .

In 1989 a committee determined that a new console with solid-state switching was required. Moller was selected as builder. The new console arrived in May of 1991 and was officially dedicated at the Sunday morning service on June 9.

The majority of the pipe work is from the original 1933 installation. While the 1976 rebuild of the instrument revoiced and altered many of the pipes, the 1991 repair did not replace the excellent pipe work contained in the organ. No revoicing of the pipe work occurred with the new console installation. The clarity of the organ sound is rather improved by the switching mechanism.
