BIBLE STORY TIME

This special class is designed for children ages 4, 5, and 6. During this time children learn stories of the Bible through reading, playing games, and making art projects. This class is offered during the traditional worship service, and is held in the Kindergarten Room. Coordinators for this ministry are Abney Seyler and Lisa Timm.

CHAPEL KIDS

This is a worship service for older youth (ages 7-12). Chapel Kids is creative, interactive, prayerful, and spiritually moving. It takes place in the Chapel during the traditional worship service. Leaders of this ministry are Meri Blanchard, Joy Mueller, and Amelia Hays-Rivest.

CHILDREN’S CHOIRS

Jubilee Singers is for children ages 4-grade 1. The group meets from 4-4:45PM. Choristers is for children ages grade 2 and up. They meet from 5-6 PM. Both choirs meet every Sunday in the choir room. Youth Handbell Choir is another opportunity for children. Interested ringers, contact Becky Isaacson at 734-1623. For all other choirs, just show up!!

CONFIRMATION

Confirmation is a vital part of this ministry and is offered every other year to 8th and 9th graders. This year we are offering a class. If you are interested in participating in confirmation, contact Monica Ardolino at (413)737-5311x104.

MOVEMENT CHOIR

This is an intergenerational group, ages 5-adult, that contributes to the worship service through movement, just as the other choirs do through words and music. Dance experience is NOT required, nor is walking. All this is required is a sense that worship can move, literally, beyond words and music. Rehearsals begin on September 21 from 4-5PM in the Sanctuary. Amelia Hays-Rivest is the leader of the ministry.

NURSERY CARE

Our Nursery is a safe, comfortable, and fun place for children ages 0-3 to be cared for while their parent(s) are attending Adult Education classes and/or worship. Children may stay in the Nursery Room from 8:45AM to 12:00Noon. Andrea Cichetti, our Nursery Care Worker, is a certified teacher and lots of fun to play with. YOUTH FELLOWSHIPS

Trinity has Youth Fellowship for many ages:

Mini-mini Methodists for 2nd, and 3rd graders gathers one Sunday per month, fro 12-1PM in the Youth Room.

Mini-Methodists for 4th, 5th, & 6th graders, meets two Sundays per month from6-7:30PM in Asbury Hall.

Junior High for 7th and 8th graders and Senior High for 9th-12th graders meet on Wednesday evenings, twice a month, from 6:30-8PM, in the Youth Room.

The focus of this ministry is relational. Through a variety of activities including Bible reflection, prayer, discussion, outings, service, games, worship, and more, youth learn the value of being in Christian community. Dina Christopher, Tom Butcher, Charlotte Clancy, Lauren Gray, Charles Gray, and Melissa Gilbert are the youth leaders of this ministry. For more information, contact Monica Ardolino.
