and Our Fall Festival of Ministries! September 14th “I set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between me and the earth.” Genesis 9:13
Let us all plan to gather together on Sunday, September 14th as we celebrate the beginning of the new fall season at Trinity Church. Our worship service will hold a number of special offerings to mark this day as we focus on the theme of “covenant.” In addition, before worship, there will be a festival of ministries for children and youth held in Asbury Hall. During the hour from 9 until 10 AM children and their parents can register for Church School classes for the coming year. This will be an opportunity to meet teachers, learn a little about each class, and be alerted to some “up-coming events.” Returning and new students are encouraged to attend. Fun activities and fellowship will be a part of this opening time together.
During our festival of ministries, information will also be available on our vital youth ministry program and a number of other spiritual ministries that are at the heart of our life together; Chapel kids, Bible Story Time, Nursery Care, the Jubilee Singers, the Choristers, our Bell Choirs, the Dance Movement Choir and more. Many of the rich offerings of Trinity Church will be represented for all who attend in order to have questions answered, to meet leaders, and to nurture relationships.
As we have in the past, after worship our celebrating will continue with a special luncheon and then games for all out on our front lawn! The day should contain some surprises and meaningful experiences for everyone!
Let us gather to celebrate the gift of faith, the gift God continues to give us in each other, and the covenant community of which we are all apart through our life together as Trinity Church.
