Join us Sunday mornings for a discussion of Sister Joan Chittister’s book  The Ten Commandments: Laws of the Heart.  In this book she sets aside one chapter for each of the ten plus the two great commandments. Her approach is eye-opening and fresh. Some of the questions we will consider are: What does it mean to love God and neighbor in a world of violence and fear, How do we make “graven images” today, What does “Thou shalt not kill” really mean when throughout the Old Testament there is killing and death and today Christians cannot agree about war, abortion, or capital punishment?
