Our Mission
Trinity United Methodist Church is a community
of affirming followers under the leadership of Christ.
We strive to live and teach the virtues of love,
joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, gentleness,
self-control and faithfulness. We offer ministry by
reaching out to help our community and those in need.

Our Pastor
James and Betsy Miller are the proud parents of
three children, Rebecca, Zachary, and Lauren.
Jim is originally from Salem, Ohio. He attended
Kent State University and received his B.A. in
Speech and Communication in 1988. He graduated
from Wesley Theological Seminary in 1992 with
a Master of Divinity Degree. Jim received his
doctorate of ministry from Wesley Theological
Seminary in 1999.
Jim has served the following congregations: Harmony/Ames
Charge Peninsula Delaware Conference; 1988-1993
Kent Island, associate pastor, 1993-1997, Peninsula Delaware

Conference Hyattstown United Methodist Church: 1997-2000.
Baltimore-Washington Conference Trinity United Methodist
Church 2000-Present.
In addition to his pastoral duties here at Trinity, Jim
serves as the Disaster Relief Coordinator for the Baltimore-Washington
Conference and as a District Moving Coordinator.
Jim enjoys time with his family, running, and
baseball.
