In the Gospel of Luke we read these words of Jesus of Nazareth, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these." The setting for these words can be found in Luke 18:15-17. Parents were bringing their children, even their babies, to Him so that He might touch them. We the staff of Trinity United Methodist Church, along with the Playschool staff, see the opportunity to be a part of your children's life as a sacred trust. That sacred trust involves a sacred touch. In a real way we would like to touch your child with the love of God, as Jesus did so long ago. Our name represents the purpose of our program. Play represents the way children learn about themselve, others and their world. For most children, play is a natural part of their lives, a natural way to learn about the love of God. School represents the activities of purpose designed to assist your child as they develop their miraculous cognitive gift. This is not Baby-sitting 101, this is the first step in your child's formal education away from home. Trinity Church is open not only to your child during Playschool, but to minister to the needs of your entire family. I look forward to working with each of you.
