Trinity  United Methodist Church	Charlotte, North Carolina

Trinity is constantly looking for ways to reach out beyond the walls of our church to help those in need in our community and in the world. We are pleased to have joined the Habitat for Humanity program here in Charlotte in 1999. A total of 24 people signed up committing to participate once per quarter. Of course anyone is welcome to participate in any of the building projects wheather you signed up or not.

Habitat for Humanity's Mission comes from the Christian principles on which it was founded. Their goal is to construct simple, decent and affordable houses in order to eliminate poverty housing. In this manner they can demonstrate the love and teachings of Jesus Christ and provide a way of sharing between the affluent and those in need, because the Bible emphasizes a concern for the well-being of others. These principles also call them to build whith integrity and quality, be good stewards of the resources given them, and to sell houses at no profit and no interest.
