Newborn through  3 years (Early Christian Awareness)
The Early Christian Awareness (ECA) program was developed to teach children beginning at birth through age 3.

There are seven goals of ECA:
- To provide a relaxed, happy, Christian environment in the room.  This includes teacher's and
assistant's attitudes and attractive, stimulating and comfortable physical surroundings.
- To enable the child to experience faith through the caring, loving and nurturing of the entire ECA team.
- To communicate to the child that God loves him and is the creator of him and his world.
- To help the child know that he is a special person and an important part of his own Church.
- To enable the child to learn through perceptual means using all the senses.
- To begin the process of self-discipline, patience and the pleasure of sharing.
- To have parents involved in enriching their parenting skills by being involved with their child's spiritual growth and their own personal spiritual development, with the belief that growth in grace by both parents and young child are inseparable.

We strive to stimulate the child's perception by visual, auditory and all sensory methods.  For instance, we get the interest of the class on a stuffed animal or mechanical toy (that looks real) like a bird, then show it in flight and reproduce its song or voice.  We let the children touch it.  Thus, they get a complete and comprehensive impression of the bird or whatever we are demonstrating.
Repetition is the keynote of teaching the very young children.   Each teacher has here teaching routine in a small notebook on the floor or on the table at here side, and the entire routine is repeated each Sunday with minor variations.   The routine starts as soon as the children are seated in infant carriers on the table or chairs around the table.  In the first song of here routine, the teacher holds up a mirror to each small child in the circle and sings, "You're a pretty little girl - handsome little boy, and God made you, God made you . . . learn to serve Him faithfully.

3 Years through 4 Years

Pre-K through Kindergarten
In the Pre-K through Kindergarten Class, we study basic Bible stories such as Goliath, Noah and the whale, Moses and the burning bush, and Jesus Christ.  Our normal class attendance is seven children and
we have very much fun!  Every Sunday, we get cookies for snacks during our classSometimes, we even have drinks.

1st Grade through 2nd Grade
In the 1st and 2nd Grade Class, our theme is Learning and Living God's Word.  We use the New Invitation Sunday School curriculum.  The New Invitation study material is related to the Church seasons.  During the course of this study, the children will study all of the major Bible people and events.  The children hear Bible stories of Jesus and the early disciples as well as wonderful Old Testament stories.  These stories help the children receive valuable building blocks that are the foundation of our faith.

3rd Grade through 5th Grade
Usually, we have  about nine children attend our class.  This upbeat class of 3rd - 5th graders learn about God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit and all the fascinating stories in the Bible.  We use Bible study booklets to guide us through our study.   One of the neat things we plan to do is make a Bible tree.  We will have an imitation tree and each week we will put Bible verses on index cards and attach the cards to the tree.  The neat thing about this is we will learn verses of the Bible without even thinking about it.
These fine young children are a great delight and as you can see, are very creative!

Junior High (6th Grade through 8th Grade)
The Junior High Class is for young people who attend grades 6-8.  The class is very informal; the students are given free time at the beginning of each class to visit and enjoy fellowship.  The lessons are completed in class and no study material is sent home.  Many of the lessons deal with everyday situations that youth encounter and what the Bible says about handling these situations.

Senior High
The Senior High Class is composed of grades 9-12.  The Quest Study Bible is used along with "30 Days to Understanding the Bible."  Sometimes, instead of using the lesson plan, the group discusses decisions and pressures teens are faced with in their lives.  At other times, the group plays board games which gives them a chance to relax and blow off steam!

Serendipity
This class consists of adults 20-40 years of age.  A new study will begin which is based upon the Book of Matthew.  The series presents stimulating lessons that explore ways to understand the biblical message and apply it to everyday life.   Adult Bible Studies help adults move from a focus on the Word of God to reflection on personal, family, church and community concerns.

Encounter
This class consists of adults 20 to 50+ years of age and neither age nor marital status are important factors.  Members include couples and singles.  The class age and personality diversity leads to a wide range of perspectives on any given issue.  The class is fun, loving and informed.
We just completed our study of the Holy Spirit and will begin a study of grieving led by Pastor Duke.
There are no Bible scholars in the class and the members strive to learn more about God's word and
how it applies to their lives.  The class members bring experience from many different denominations.  All members are encouraged to share their experiences, comments and thoughts in a loving and encouraging setting.

Fellowship
This class starts each Sunday off by each member doing a show and tell of their last weeks
activities.  Some of the things talked about are funny and they have a good laugh!  Some of the
things talked about are sad and they pray with each other.  They also pray for the sick and shut-ins
and those in the Rest Homes.
Get Well cards are mailed to the Fellowship members, non-members and to anyone that the class members request no matter their faith.
There are three teachers which rotate in this class.  The class normally lasts approximately
45 minutes and is always over by 10:30 AM because there are some members that sing and
the choir and have to leave the class to prepare.
The Fellowship Class has been active for many, many years and all of the members are at least
50 years of age.  The members love the fellowship with each other in class.
