Truth or Hoax?
We've all had email with a plea about a missing child or a child with a terrible disease. Usually, these are cruel hoaxes. These creative and passionate letters tug at our heart strings.
No one can explain why anyone would create such useless and cruel hoaxes.
If you've received one of these messages, and would like to check on the truth of it, we can help.
The easiest way to check for yourself, is to type the subject line of the message (or first line, or name of child) into the search bar of your favorite search engine, followed by the word; hoax.
This will typically lead you to many links to information of the truth or fiction of the message.
