Living the Social Principles is a workshop sponsored by the General Board of Church & Society.  First United Methodist Church in Ottawa will host this event on October 15 beginning at 9:30 a.m.  Clergy and laity are encouraged to attend this one day workshop which includes discussion, information, and role-plays and interactive exercises on the role of the Social Principles in the life of our local churches and the Annual Conference.  Registration deadline is Friday, October 7, and the fee is $5.00 which includes the cost of materials and lunch.  Please contact the Five Rivers District Office for more information and registration.

* Wednesday, Nov. 2  -- Breakfast will be at Margie's Java Cafe (4036 S.W. Huntoon) at 7:30 a.m.

* Tuesday, Nov. 8 -- Lunch will be at Boss Hawg's Restaurant (2833 S.W. 29th) at 12:30 p.m.

* Wednesday, Nov. 16 -- Breakfast will be at Margie's Java Cafe (4036 S.W. Huntoon) at 7:30 a.m.

* Wednesday, Nov. 30 -- Breakfast will be at Margie's Java Cafe (4036 S.W. Huntoon) at 7:30 a.m. 

All of these meal gatherings are designed for the purpose of fellowship and the sharing of information.  You are invited to attend any and all of these that you would like.
