Can my Gift Be Stock or  Other Assets?
      YES!
Most members of the Church of St. Andrew will be considering gifts of cash toward our
Build For Tomorrow campaign, but others may be in a better position to make gifts of stocks or other assets.

There are some whose circumstances may indicate that a transfer of some asset or
investment is both an appropriate and an advantageous way to participate in the
congregational effort.  Such investments often exist in the form of stocks or assets that
have grown in market value over the years.  Transferring the investment to church
ownership will establish full market value of the asset as a tax deductible contribution
without having to declare any taxable income from it.

Investments usually represent a long-term commitment of an individual of family to build a
long term fund for some important purpose.  What could be a more important purpose
than to help our church build a legacy both for our generation and for generations to
come?  We in this generation have been the grateful beneficiaries of the devoted efforts of
those who have proceeded us.  let us do our part in return.

How Can We Build a $1.1 Million Addition Without $1.1 Million in Pledges?
It would be wonderful indeed to pay for our beautiful renovations and new sanctuary the
moment we moved into it.  And we are not discounting that it could happen.  however, a
church family,  just like your family, usually cannot afford to pay cash for a new home.

We will have to borrow money to pay for pour new addition.  When you make a pledge,
you are promising to help us pay down the loan for the next three years.

At the end of this 36 month Build For Tomorrow campaign, we anticipate asking our
congregation to join together in a second capital funds campaign to retire the rest of the
debt.  The amount of debt we will have at the end of the first three year period will depend upon how much money we raise during this campaign.  The more we raise today, the less
we will owe tomorrow.

"Let us run the race before us, looking unto Jeasus, the author and finisher of our faith."
